Action at McDonald's Bank

At low tide, McDonald's Bank transforms into a unique playground on the water. It provides fantastic shelter, so even when it's blowing like crazy elsewhere, the water here stays relatively flat.

These calm conditions are perfect for the foilers who appear in their wetsuits. Using large kites and wing-like sails, they ride on boards that lift them out of the water, allowing them to travel at incredible speeds.

The real spectacle is when they become airborne after hitting a wave, sometimes seeming to float across the sky for a moment. It’s a truly thrilling sight to see.
